How to Choose Colors for Your eBook Cover

Abstract: health food recipe
Tag:

Color can have a profound impact on your prospective buyers. The
wrong colors can negatively impact your sales, while the right
colors can trigger positive emotions motivating your visitors to
buy from you.

Color can affect how we feel and influence what we think. In
general, bright bold colors tend to stir us up, while the softer
pastel colors calm and relax us. Responses to colors can vary by
age, gender and cultural background.

Colors will affect how a potential buyer reacts to your ebook.
Carefully select your color scheme for your ebook cover. Here
are some guidelines to help you make good color choices. Bear in
mind that these are guidelines, and that there are no hard and
fast rules. Just use common sense. * Consider your audience.
For example, if your ebook primarily targets men, then you will
want to use strong, bold colors. If your target audience is
women, then choose soft, pastel colors. If your focus is on
children, choose bright, vibrant colors.

* Choose colors that are appropriate for your book’s topic. For
example, green may work well for books about starting a home
business, making money, and reducing debt.

* Use colors that match or complement the color scheme of your
web site.

* Keep the number of colors down to two or three, and no heavier.
This does not include photographs which can have a whole range
of colors.

* When using photographs on your ebook cover, use colors that
complement the primary color in the picture.

* Make sure that all of the colors you use work well together
and do not clash.

* Communicate your message with easy-to-read text. Use colors
for your text that contrast with the background color so your
text is readable. For example, a dark font on a light background
is easy to read.

* Consider the mood you want to create. Remember that emotions
trigger sales. People buy what they want – not what they need.
The list below will show you how colors can affect us in
different ways.

Red – Action, energy, strength, passion, fire, heat, power,

with the sky and the sea, intelligence, reassurance, and trust.

would not be good for cookbooks or recipes but you can consider
it for diet books.

hope, growth, freshness, soothing, sharing, and responsiveness.
Green symbolizes spring, renewal, and fertility.

Have you ever wondered what your life would be like if you
lacked the ability to smelling. Sure, it whitethorn not seem as
difficult as trying to navigate a room while blindfolded, or
attempting to perform daily tasks without using your thumbs, but
you would still be missing a lot. For one thing, your common
sense of taste would go come out of the closet the window, too.
For another, your brain is wired to interpret signals from your
olfactory center to tell you what pleasures or hazards English

In fact, you could say that much of what you know about the
world, and how you relate to it, depends on your good sense of
olfactory property. Olfaction is the only gumption fully
developed at birth in humans, and it plays an important role in
an infant’s ability to recognize and bond with his or her
mother. Even the “chemistry” felt between two adults Crataegus
laevigata be prompted by aroma. Scientists rich person
identified substances called pheromones in human consistency
olfactory property that act as chemical messengers to the brain
to stimulate, among other responses or behaviors, sexual
attraction to a potential mate.

With at least 5 million odor-sensing cells lining the nasal bone
passages, the nozzle seems to be well-equipped to observe smells
on its own. Merely, approximately scientists speculate that,
like other animals, citizenry Crataegus oxycantha also wealthy

that helps them to find these subtle fragrance molecules.
There’s little doubt that certain odors tin give birth a direct
impact on the way we think and feel. The odour of freshly baked
bread, for example, May conjure up fond memories of home and
hearth. Other scents, such as floral or spicy aromas, induce a
romantic mood.

So recognized is this impression that many European and Asian

Weight Loss & Diet

Abstract: food good health

In 2000, an estimated 30.5 percent of adults were obese (i.e.,
had a body mass index [BMI] greater than 30 kg per [m.sup.2])
(1) and 15.5 percent of adolescents were overweight (BMI of 25
to 30 kg per [m.sup.2]). (2) Given the medical and psychosocial
impact of being overweight, as well as the difficulty in making
sustained improvements in diet and physical activity, it is not
surprising that patients often turn to over-the-counter (OTC)
proprietary weight-loss products containing single or multiple
dietary supplements (e.g., herbs, vitamins, minerals, amino
acids). Unintentional weight loss is the most common symptom of
cancer and often a side effect of cancer treatments. A poor
response to cancer treatments, reduced quality of life, and
shorter survival time may result from substantial weight loss.
The body may become weaker and less able to tolerate cancer
therapies. As body weight decreases, body functionality declines
and may lead to malnutrition, illness, infection, and perhaps
death. The use of natural therapies–things like herbs,
medicinal teas, and tinctures–has been growing among adults for
years. Now there’s strong evidence that children are receiving
these treatments in greater numbers too. Diet Most people will
begin to lose weight if they cut calories to no fresh than 1,500
per day and do aerobic exercise for 20 minutes three or four
times per week. Changing your behavior is also key Recording the
foods you eat in a diet diary for at least five days will help
you see what, why and how much you are eating. Following the
detoxification diet–which excludes preservatives, dyes and
pesticides-will eliminate waste and motivate you to alter your
eating habits Herbal supplements Herbs and nutritional
supplements can help break down fat tissue. Among the herbs I
prescribe frequently are Ephedra sinica and Camellia sinensis,
or green tea. I recommend half a gram of ephedra twice daily to
increase metabolism and abbreviate appetite, and one cup of green
tea per day to facilitate breakdown of fat cells. Other herbs
include Corynanthe yohimbe (1 milligram three times a day) and
Taraxacum, or dandelion root (4 grams of the dried powder or 500
to 1,000 mg of solid extract a day). Both are available in
health-food stores.
